Unibet adds dedicated Evolution Live Roulette for Belgium
Evolution Gaming, the world leader in video-streamed Live Dealer gaming, has announced that it has launched a dedicated online Live Roulette service for Unibet in the newly regulated Belgian market.
The new live table, hosted in a dedicated environment branded exclusively for Unibet at Evolution’s Riga studios, is staffed by both male and female native speaking Flemish dealers.
According to Evolution, Unibet already operates one of the largest dedicated environments at Evolution’s central production studios, serving Roulette and Blackjack players in multiple markets. In addition, Unibet has already integrated Evolution’s native speaking Venezia Roulette and Svensk Roulette services into its localised online offerings for Italy and Sweden respectively.
Dennis Marien, Unibet’s Belgium Country Manager, commented: “We have seen the vital role that experienced native speaking dealers can play when launching a new online service into newly regulated markets. We are keen to make a big impact in Belgium from the very start, and to secure significant market share. That’s why we have chosen to go with a fully localised offering from day one. Evolution has the strongest possible track record of working with operators to gain first-to-market advantage, and they had the optimum localised solution for Belgium, so we were able to move very quickly.”
Sebastian Johannisson, Evolution’s Head of Account Management, said: “Evolution has provided its Live Casino to unibet.com since 2009. We’re delighted that our experience in delivering localised, customised solutions fits so well with Unibet’s growth strategy across Europe. They have seen the success we have achieved in other newly regulated markets by using native speaking dealers and they have invested in that model. The new Flemish dealers for Unibet bring the total of native languages offered on our shared and dedicated tables to 10, making the Evolution language offering the richest in the Live Casino market.”
Evolution COO speaks on convergent land-based and online casino operations at GiGse, San Francisco
Svante Liljevall, COO at Evolution Gaming, the world leader in video-streamed Live Dealer gaming, is to speak at GiGse as part of the ‘Flip the Switch’ agenda on the opening day, April 23. The theme of this year’s speaker-panel day focuses on how operators must get their strategy and investment right to maximise emerging opportunities in the re-regulating US market.
Liljevall is part of a panel of iGaming industry figures that will discuss how to build loyalty across land-based and online operations with a convergent product and marketing approach that delivers a seamless experience for players. The session takes place at 5:15pm on Tuesday April 23. Other speakers on the panel are Wendell Long, CEO of Casino del Sol, Jak Hakim, CEO of C2Rewards, John Connelly, VP of Bally Technologies, and Jim Quigley, President of the US iGaming Survey.
Liljevall said: “The subject of a seamless customer journey is very close to my heart. At Evolution our mission is to deliver a flawless live gaming experience across multiple channels in regulated markets. My role is very much focused on the operational delivery of our multi-channel PC/iPad/tablet/TV/mobile gaming offering and its integration with operator systems such as single wallet, CRM and loyalty.”
Depending on the jurisdiction, Evolution’s integrated solutions can be delivered from the company’s central Live Casino production studios in Riga, from ‘in-venue’ live studios created exclusively for casino operators on their gaming floors, and from shared ‘in-venue’ live studios. An example of the latter is Evolution’s ‘Ruleta en Vivo’ facility, which was launched recently at the Casino Rincon de Pepe in Murcia, Spain to serve multiple operators in the newly regulated Spanish market.
Liljevall added: “So much of what we are delivering for Europe’s top operators is of direct relevance to where the US iGaming and intra-resort mobile gaming markets are heading. I am delighted to be able to contribute to the debate.”
GiGSe 2013 (the Global iGaming Summit and Expo) takes place April 23-25 at The Westin San Francisco Market Street. For more information visit www.GiGse.com If you would like to make an appointment to meet with one of the Evolution Team contact asrealasitgets@evolutiongaming.com
Evolution launches Spanish Live Roulette for Interwetten
Evolution Gaming, the world leader in video-streamed Live Dealer gaming, has announced that Interwetten is now using Evolution’s new land-based Live Studio in Murcia to stream online Live Roulette in the new Spanish market.
The Interwetten service, available at www.interwetten.es, is streamed from Evolution’s ‘Ruleta en Vivo’ studio facility at the land-based Casino Rincon de Pepe in Murcia. Live dealer Roulette games, hosted by experienced native speaking Spanish dealers, are available from 12 noon to 4am local time, 7 days a week.
Founded in 1990 as a telephone-based sports betting specialist, Interwetten has grown into a global online entertainment company offering both live sports betting and online games. The move into Live Casino in Spain is the latest expansion for the brand, which serves customers in more than 70 countries.
Commenting on this latest launch, Mario Bilic, Interwetten’s Head of Casino, said: “Our global growth strategy is very much focused on reacting quickly to local market opportunities and then ensuring we deliver the best online betting and playing experience to customers in that market. Evolution’s Ruleta en Vivo studio in Murcia gave us a ready-made Live Roulette solution that meets all our needs. It’s a world-class, fully compliant service, and we’ve been able to roll out the service very quickly. From a purely commercial viewpoint, it has given us rapid access to another regulated market segment as well as an immediate additional revenue stream.”
Sebastian Johannisson, Head of Account Management at Evolution, commented: “We are delighted that another major online brand has chosen to use the state-of-the-art Live Roulette broadcast facility that we have created at Casino Rincon de Pepe. The turnkey element of the solution was critical. Once the business decision was made it was a case of making the required system connections. Time to market can be very rapid indeed, which in today’s changing and competitive market is vitally important.”

Both the dedicated Blackjack table and the London Roulette service will operate with, “Mr Green-brandings, which will be excitingly different and created using the latest technologies at our Riga studios,” according to Evolution.
Markus Aurala, Chief Product Officer at Mr Green commented: “Look-and-feel, localised services and the delivery of a trusted and entertaining online experience are all central to our brand strategy. Still more choice for customers will be provided by a range of generic live tables accessed through branded Mr Green live lobby areas.”
Mr Green was launched in 2008. Currently the site offers more than 200 games, through multiple local language variants of the mrgreen.com website.
Evolution’s Live Roulette for iPad goes live for Lottomatica
Evolution Gaming, the world leader in video-streamed Live Dealer gaming, has announced the rollout of its new Live Roulette for iPad solution for Lottomatica – a first in the Italian market.
Lottomatica is using the Evolution iPad platform in two ways: to broaden the reach of its web-based Live Roulette games to iPad users; and to provide an iPad-based betting interface for viewers of the Lottomatica Vegas Club TV show – channel 59 on DTT.
Live game feeds for both the web-based Lottomatica Live Casino service and its Live Casino TV show are streamed direct from dedicated tables at Evolution’s Riga studios. The tables are Lottomatica branded and staffed by native speaking Italian dealers.
For the TV show, Lottomatica broadcasts live from an Italian TV studio and integrates the Riga live table feeds on large screens that are part of the TV studio set. Italian presenters provide running commentary on the live games and interact with the viewers and dealers.
Lottomatica customers use their iPads to play Live Roulette, with a simple betting interface synchronised to the online game, appearing on their iPad screens.
Lottomatica originally selected Evolution – the first Live Casino provider to be fully certified by AAMS and to go live in Italy – in 2011. The new iPad services extend Lottomatica’s core online Live Roulette, and in the near future, Live Blackjack offering too.
Gionata La Torre, CEO of Evolution Italy, added: “This demonstrates, once again, our commitment to delivering flawless live gaming on multiple devices in regulated markets; it not only extends player choice but also operator reach.”
